what to do if your separators fall out

Separators will allow us to make additional space in order for your new appliance to fit.

They are placed 1-2 weeks prior to your appliance placement.

You may feel pressure or discomfort approximately 10 minutes after placing.

​

Teeth can be brushed but not flossed.

​

Do not eat sticky, chewy food that may pull the separators out.

​

If you are unable to place them at home, please call our office.

The separators will be removed when your appliance is placed.
